Luke Bowen (b. January 26th 1986, Harlow)
The 22 year old from Harlow is one of the club’s most popular riders, an affection earned by both his never-say-die racing attitude and sheer determination to return from a string of injuries. His first Premier League season in 2006 was cruelly cut short by a broken leg, but his 2007 campaign was a near ever-present one and brought a near 5 point average.
With the metalwork now removed from his leg after a winter operation, the Bowen 747 starts the new season in the main body of the team. A key focus will be mastering his away circuits, in order to keep pace with what is already a near 7 point home record.
