Robert Mear (b. January 12th 1989, Welwyn Garden City) The 19 year old was a deserved repeat winner of the Mr Raider award last year after posting a succession of high scores in the Conference League that culminated with no less than five successive six ride maximums at Rye! He also finished 3rd in the Conference League Riders Championship and 5th in the British U-18 Championship. He admitted at the end last season that it was “Premier League or bust” in 2008.
